Description

BIX Light and Media Facade is an an architectural screen embedded into the Kunsthaus Graz, an art museum located in Graz, Austria. Commissioned by architects realities:united, BIX Simulator is a custom software application that enables users to experience a 3D simulation of the facade in real-time. Users can display their own video on the screen and navigate around the screen and see how it appears from different locations around the city. BIX Simulator was authored in the Max/Jitter programming platform together with John Dekron and was available for the Macintosh operating system. It was the first interactive real-time simulation of an architectural video facade.
